Body jades Jade pendants like these from the 4th century B.C. were placed on the bodies of the wealthy in their tombs The body is covered with a silk veil with jade sewn into it. From the neck to the knees there are a number of jade pendants, discs, plaques and beads.  This is a very early example of a jade bi from around 2500 B.C. |
